About Myself
Originally born in Hamburg, I graduated from high school in Munich in 1974, then studied agricultural sciences in Weihenstephan, specializing in animal breeding. From 1978, I studied veterinary medicine first in Munich at the LMU and later at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hanover, where I also passed my state examination. I did my doctorate in Munich in the 1980s.
I have been a member of the German Terrier Club since 1977 and have been one of the club’s breeding supervisors since 19??. In the eighties I trained as a breed judge for small terriers and was entered on the VDH judges’ list in 1991. Since then I have had several assignments as a breed judge at home and abroad at national and international dog shows and terrier specialty shows (including USA, UK and Scandinavia).

A great honor in 1996: the invitation to judge the Norfolk Terriers at the largest terrier show in the USA: Montgomery County – also called the Mecca of terrier breeders!
In 2003, I judged at the Championship Show of the Norfolk Terrier Club of Great Britain. My BOB Was the Top Winner from 2002: Ch. Belleville Magic Flute.
Norfolk Terier special show with Joy Taylor as judge. Joy Taylor was the breeder of the well-known English kennel Nanfan.
In 2007, I was awarded the Baron von Gingins Memorial Medal for outstanding achievements in promoting dog breeding. This is the VDH’s highest cynological award.
Allright Candy Cane became best of breed at the Terrier Show in Hamburg 2009.
